Resist Prohibition
Posted by Foobooz on April 6th, 2007

Victory Brewing Company has declared today Victory Over Prohibition Day and his unveiling its Throwback Lager at lots of participating bars throughout the area.
At 9 PM, raise your glass of Throwback Lager and toast Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the man who repealed prohibition.
Also be sure to check out Joe Sixpack’s very interesting look at Philadelphia during prohibition. It wasn’t exactly a dry time.
