Jose Garces of Amada and Tinto failed to capture the Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic award at last night’s James Beard Awards, the Oscars for Chefs and Restaurateurs, R.J. Cooper, III from Vidalia in Washington, DC won the Mid-Atlantic award.
