I’m there at least weekly (so take my critique with a grain of salt), but I wonder if Erace got a little confused by the menu. Granted, I almost always end up in the downstairs pub area (marvelous room, btw and always less crowded than the upstairs bar), but I believe you can get the same food anywhere in the restaurant. For example, the risotto crab cakes (which are AMAZING–I’m talking jaw droppingly delicious) are available at the bar, and the calamari (which disppointed me as well) are available at the restaurant side.

Plus, their pizza is the single best next-day reheat pizza in the world. A little too chewy at the restaurant, but that makes them even better when you reheat on a pan.

I can’t recommend it highly enough as a great gastro….i mean fooboozerie. grub pub? whatever. go eat there (no, I don’t work there, but my girlfriend lives a block away from it)!
