Snap Squad: "Appetite Stimulus" Lunch at Lacroix
Posted by Foobooz on July 29th, 2009
Remember to send pics of your great meals to me at aprimis@phillymag.com — everyone who sends in shots has a chance to win two seats at one of our RC dinners!
Where: Lacroix, The Rittenhouse Hotel, 210 West Rittenhouse Square
When: Wednesday, July 29th, 1 p.m.
Who: Tim H.
The Meal: The main course of Lacroix’s three-course, $24 “Appetite Stimulus Package” lunch — a huge, expertly seared burger with Gouda, a slice of apple, double-smoked bacon, and rosemary sauce. The fries — tossed in truffle oil with parmesan, shallots, and scallions — were intriguing but in the end just a bit overpowering.
