Brauhaus Schmitz Oktoberfest

Judging by the crowds, lots of people have been celebrating Brauhaus Schmitz’s opening and now that it’s September, celebrate with a month’s worth of Oktoberfest fun.
Tomorrow, there’s a Franziskaner promotion from 9 to 11pm where everyone who orders a $4 Franziskaner will be entered to win a motorized scooter given away that night.

Sunday, the Brauhaus will be closed as they are taking a field trip to the Cannstatter Volksfest in the Northeast.
Oktoberfest then gets going full force from the 21st to the 26th with multiple events.
Monday, September 21st
German Quizzo – Topics include beer, history, culture, famous Germans, etc.
Tuesday, September 22nd
German Beer/Food Pairing 7pm – $45 per person. paired courses paired with four beers.
Wednesday, September 23rd
Are you a German Beer Expert 9pm – Blind beer tasting
Thursday, September 24th
Bratwurst Eating Contest 9pm – Limited to 20 participants. A gastronomic challenge consisting of a 1/2 meter of bratwurst, sauerkraut and potato salad plus a 1/2 liter of Hausbrau to wash it all down.
Friday, September 25th
Kick the Keg Lottery 5pm to close – Help empty the keg room to get ready for Oktoberfest the next day. All beers will be discounted and if the keg kicks when your beer is being poured, you receive special prizes.
Satuday, September 26th
Oktoberfest Noon to 7pm – Special indoor/outdoor event complete with a pig roast and other German specialties.

my name is reiner and im here in bavaria germany.i used to live in philly with a friend of mine. his name is WILLIARD ISON and i need to know where hes at. i guess most people over there may know him as ” WILLY”
but anyhow….he just had recently a big birthdayparty…his 50th,,,and noone here knmows where to go to congratulate….so i try it this way…if anyone should know his whereabouts or better may even know him…please tell him to contact his family and friends in germany…..URGENT….thank you
