Become a Varga Calendar Girl!

varga_jan_250 Varga Bar, the restau-bar near Washington Square, is putting out a 2010 calendar of Varga Girls and wants locals chicas to be the stars. It’s actually really tasteful stuff — they’ll be taking photos, then transforming the shots into illustrated work in the style of the bar’s namesake artist, Alberto Vargas. (See the Senorita January example, right.)

There will be a party to celebrate the calendar’s release in December, and the photos will be on display in the restaurant. Interested women should e-mail two photos and three sentences about why they want to be a Varga girl to makemeavargagirl@gmail.com, by October 31st. (Note: Arthur Kade will not be judging.)
