Tonight, Zahav for $36

Zahav deservedly received lots of praise for its Restaurant Week menu but did you know the modern Israeli restaurant offers a  similar deal on Monday nights for $36. Ta’Yim, Salatim and Hummus, choice of three plates and choice of dessert will set you back just $36.

      Actually – the $36 menu is served every night.

      I’m assuming they do that because Jewish culture considers multiples of 9 to be good luck.

      It’s actually multiples of 18 that are considered to be good luck. The hebrew word for life is chai. This is made up of the 8th and 10th letters of the hebrew alphabet.
