The year was 1901, the street was torn up and the Police were posing in front of this swinging doored saloon. But what is it in 2010? We initially thought it was Johnny Brenda’s but the photograph says it was down the block at Girard and Shackamaxon. There certainly are some similarities between the buildings and Johnny Brenda’s but also some dissimilarities too, namely the rounded corner that JB’s has today. So what do you think? Could this be the same building, 109 years later?
