More On PLCB Raids

Don Russell and Bob Warner have more on the State Police raid of Origlio Beverage in Northeast Philadelphia where Russian River Supplication was seized and Duvel, Hacker-Pschorr, Paulaner and Monk’s Cafe Ale were ordered not to be shipped.

A comment on beer writer Lew Bryson’s Facebook page indicates that Shangy’s in Emmaus, PA (a big-time craft & imports beer distributor) was also visited by BLCE agents.

Rep. Robert Donatucci who chairs the House Liquor Control Committee in Harrisburg is now calling for hearings on the state’s beer regulations.

Bryson who has been pushing for the Abolishment of the PLCB also has established a Facebook group echoing the sentiment.

He’s also issuing a call to action for the individuals to immediately contact their state legislator and recommend to them that they immediately suspend enforcement of the regulations on confiscation of unregistered beer pending hearings to investigate the utility of the regulation, the implementation of registration by the PLCB and the fairness of its enforcement.
