Troegs Moving to Hershey
Posted by Foobooz on June 29th, 2010
The excellent Tröegs Brewery is moving closer to Philadelphia. The brewery has called Harrisburg home since its beginning in 1996 but is going to be building a new brewery in Hershey.
Troegs owners Chris and John Trogner promise that the new brewery will be an attraction for millions of visitors that come to Hershey every year. The facility will feature a 5,000 square foot tasting room situated in the brew house plus an outdoor seating area.
The new brewery is aiming to open in late 2011Â at which point the Harrisburg facility will be phased out. The new brewery will also include the opportunity for a self-guided tour, packaging room, oak barrel aging room, lab and pilot brewing room.
Guided tours will continue to be offered on designated days.
