And Now, Some Very Good News

Posted by Foobooz on December 13th, 2010

Today I’m extremely excited to announce that I’ve sold Foobooz.com to Philadelphia magazine’s parent company Metrocorp. Foobooz will become the online food and drink brand of Phillymag.com.

I will continue on with Foobooz in the role of digital product manager and part of my job will be to continue to contribute to Foobooz.

Joining Philadelphia magazine will reunite me with Foobooz and former “Advisory Board” head Kirsten Henri, who is now food editor at Philadelphia magazine. Kirsten will take on the role of Foobooz editor.

The partnership will also enable Foobooz to expand to Boston as the online food brand for Metrocorp’s Boston magazine.

I look forward to working with Kirsten again, editor-in-chief Tom McGrath, President David Lipson and the rest of Metrocorp’s team in making Foobooz bigger and better than ever.

Sincerely,

Arthur Etchells
Founder
Foobooz.com
