      one would have to wonder at chef quality if using metric really made a difference. seems like more of a pretentious thing

      So you get grams instead of a quarter ounce, as long as it works the same who cares.

      Remember when the Mars probe slammed into the planet because some measurements were Imperial and the rest were metric? I can imagine that happening here.
