$15,000 Coffee at Starbucks

Starbucks locations in Chestnut Hill and Bala Cynwyd unveiled their new $15,000 Clover coffee machines yesterday. The Clover machines rely on a vacuum press technology to brew the perfect cup.

Newsworks’ Allan Tu was on hand to try out coffee from the new machine.

I tried it and admit I could tell a difference between the auto drip version and the Clover brew. The Clover coffee tasted more like the beans smell.

Clover coffee costs $1.95 versus the $1.50 regular cup.
