I wish these new trucks could get into Center City. So much mediocre street food here.

Barryg, I completely agree. Truth be told, I have my own food truck dreams, complete with business plan, but they have been crushed by law (school).

Where and when do they go to the bathroom is the only thing that ever concerned me about the trucks.

Love Tyson bees. The pork belly is amazing. And Thads, leave that place and live your dream! Trust me, I’ve been there.

I was fortunate to find Tyson Bees right off Broad during the Mummers Parade. It was an oasis in the middle of dirty water dogs and semi-stale soft pretzels. I had to pry the pork bun out of my 2 and a half year old son’s hands!

I tried TB’s when they were parked out front of Sampan opening weekend. To join the echo chamber – the food was divine. Unfortunately it’s probably the only time I’ll get to try them since I’m glued to Center City these days… Why no food trucks in CC? Protection for the corner carts?

    • Willie

Seriously. We need to stop protecting mediocrity. Let the trucks into CC!
