Cake & the Beanstalk to Replace Flying Monkey
Posted by Foobooz on February 17th, 2011

Flying Monkey Deuce’s Locust Street space won’t be empty long. Cake & the Beanstalk is aiming to open early next week. The cafe will carry baked goods and Chestnut Hill Coffee. Soups and sandwiches will be added later. And in a nice touch, the owner has hired back FMD’s former employees.

I agree. Something about the “deuce” just didn’t seem right. I’m excited for this new spot to open!
