The April issue of Saveur calls Philadelphia America’s Sandwich Capital. The magazine highlights Greenman’s Delicatessen, DiNic’s, Johnny’s Hots and McNally’s Tavern.
Big Eye Sushi is coming to the former Ro-Zu at 7th and Bainbridge. The Feast mentions that it may also mark the return of Todd Dae Kulper who was the opening chef at Ro-Zu. We touched base today with Steve Simons (co-owner of the Cantinas, Royal Tavern, Khyber Pass Pub) regarding his Japanese pub concept. He says Kulper is still on board and hopes to have the location settled soon. [The Feast]
