Lunch at Love

Posted by Foobooz on May 12th, 2011

Love Park
Love Park has become Center City’s food truck nexus. The Far From Home Cafe truck serves up terrific empanadas, tacos and burgers every weekday. Guapos Tacos will make 16th and JFK a regular spot on Mondays and sweets trucks Sugar Philly, Buttercream and Sweetbox will also be in the mix.

Today is an especially good day to head to Love Park for lunch as Far From Home, Guapos Tacos and Buttercream are all there today.

@ Hatesdirt: Just because a place has “enough water” for proper sanitation, doesn’t mean that it’s put to use all the time. Think of how many times you’ve been in a public restroom equipped with soap & water, and the number of people who fail to practice proper sanitation. A little dirt won’t hurt!

I wouldn’t suggest Guapos if you’re in a hurry, not just because it’s popular and has long lines, the staff was extremely slow or the lack their of, needs at least one more person in there!

the line was insane today at guapos and far from home was sold out of their tasty empanadas.

I bought the last Mexican empanada at Far From Home, sorry Eldondre!
Guapos line is approaching Shake Shack-ian proportions. I ain’t waiting that long for tacos, no matter how good – I heard a girl today tell her friend that her boss gave her an extra 45 minutes of lunchtime if she agreed to bring back food for her.

45 minute taco lines in Center City… what have we become?
