Quick Bites: Top Bar Accolades and Exotic Hot Dogs

The Huffington Post’s The Daily Meal names the 150 Best Bars in America. The Memphis Taproom’s recently opened beer garden, Franklin Mortgage Company and Philadelphia International Airport’s Cibo all made the list. [The Daily Meal]
Hot Diggity opened over the weekend at 630 South Street.The gourmet hot dog stand features ten intriguing varieties of dog. Owner Keith Garabedian credits former boss, Tom Colicchio on teaching him how to cook. [The Feast]
Bocca in Old City is now officially Lulu’s Pizza Bar. Lulu’s is owned by Luciano Lamberti who also owns Luigi’s Pizza Fresca in Fairmount and South Jersey. Meal Ticket reports the change has been gradual and the Market Street spot now has a growing menu of “thin-crust tomato pies.” [Meal Ticket]
Landmark Americana which has a location on Drexel’s campus is opening near St. Joseph’s University at 54th and City Avenue. [The Insider]
