We will certainly be stopping in at Brauhaus Schmitz tonight for the German bar and restaurant’s second birthday and it has nothing to do with the discounted draft beer ($2 off) or the free buffet (starting at 7 p.m.). We’ll be stopping in to congratulate owners Doug and Kelly Hager. The first-time restaurateurs have created a first class German experience and with the help of chef Jeremy Nolen, have filled a gaping void in our eating and drinking landscape.
