Opa Offers Free Lunch Today

Posted by Foobooz on July 18th, 2011

Today Opa will offer a complimentary lunch as it introduces its new lunch menu. Dine-in customers will be able to get a Greek pressed ham and cheese sandwich or “Toast.”

Opa’s Ham and Cheese Toast is served with Lancaster County ham, Manouri cheese and house made honey mustard dressing with House Cut Oregano Fries.

In addition to the traditional “zambon kai tiri” (Ham and Cheese) Opa will offer other Toasts and both budget and health conscious options. Highlights include:

  • Watermelon and Feta Salad
  • Three Egg Omelette
  • Bifteki, Opa’s Greek Burger served with House Cut Oregano Fries
  • Gyro, lamb or chicken Gyro served on a pita with yogurt sauce, cucumber, onion and tomato, accompanied by House Cut Oregano Fries or Dressed Greens.

why did it take me longer to get my soda than it did my sandwich? while i am not of greek heritage, the decently flavored sandwich didn’t seem to do the place justice. i’m gonna go back and try the regular menu…just doesn’t it seem logical to showcase your chef and his style vs. serving the freegans a lame take on a panini?
