WIP Beer Brawl Finals Set
In past years WIP’s Glen Macnow and Anthony Gargano have teamed up to crown the best hot sandwich, hoagie and pizza. This year the radio hosts have conducted a Beer Brawl and are crowning the best local beer in three categories; Light-bodied, Full-bodied and Seasonal/Specialty.
The finals are set for 7 p.m. on Thursday at Chickie and Pete’s in South Philadelphia. The finals will also be broadcast live on 610. Judges will include Georges Perrier, former Temple basketball coach John Chaney, Comcast Sportsnet’s Leslie Gudel, former Phillie Ricky Bottalico and “friend of the Phanatic,” Tom Burgoyne.
