Feastival Friends & Family Ticket Discount for Foobooz Readers

So, you guys have marked your calendars, right? You know that Feastival, one of the biggest food events of the season, is coming on September 14, and that it promises to be one of those “Party of the Year” kind of nights, with more than 70 of Philly’s hottest chefs and restaurants bringing the noise to Pier 9 in support of the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe?

Yeah, you already knew that. Because we’ve talked about it here on Foobooz. And because, for the serious Philly gastronaut, it’s one of those dates (like Christmas or the anniversary of your parole hearing) that you just can’t forget. I’m sure you’ve already got your ticket(s), arranged for transportation, pulled your fat pants out of the closet. You’re ready. Aren’t you?

Well, never say that Foobooz doesn’t love procrastinators. Because for those of you who haven’t gotten your tickets yet, we have a killer, one-day deal just for you. Today only, from now until midnight, you can get both GA and VIP tickets to the Wednesday night event for $50 off. Which means that, just for being lazy or forgetful, you can now pick up regular tickets for $200 and VIP passes (which include private bar service, preview access to items being auctioned off to support Live Arts and Philly Fringe and, most importantly, early access to the grub–allowing you to get a taste of everything before the hoi polloi get their grubby little mitts all over it) for $300. Yeah, it’s pricey. But you know what else it is? Gold-plated permission to behave like a shark for just one night–cruising the offerings of restaurants like 10 Arts, Lacroix, Pumpkin, Federal Donuts (which isn’t even open yet), Le Bec-Fin, Talula’s Garden, Zahav and Twenty Manning, and just eating until you pop.

All you have to do to score this deal is go to the Feastival website, proceed to the ticketing page, buy your tickets and enter the super-secret code “Foobooz” at checkout. This gimmick is only going to work until tickets sell out, though, so if I were you, I’d hurry.

Hopefully, we’ll see you all there.
