Local Winners at GABF


The Great American Beer Festival concluded in Denver on Saturday and several local breweries brought home some hardware. 3,930 beers were judged in 83 categories and 11 local beers were awarded a medal.

Troegs and Weyerbacher brought home gold medals. Troegs also won a silver and Dogfish Head and Iron Hill brought home multiple medals. Pennsylvania was seventh in total medals with seven. Delaware was credited with 6 medals though three went to Iron Hill Brewery locations outside Delaware, including New Jersey’s only medal which went to Iron Hill Maple Shade’s, Chris Lapierre.
