Fish’s Last Night and New Logo

Fish’s last night on Lombard Street will be tomorrow, Wednesday, December 14th. Fish will reopen in about a week at the corner of 13th and Locust with triple the size and a new logo.

So that means it’s time for Logo Throwdown.

Which of Fish’s three logos do you prefer?

Prefer the first – simple, fish, period. Modern and retro at the same time, has personality. Says something about the place and its focus/intent.

The fish picture seems poorly placed on the second logo – makes me read “fish-e” and doesn’t do much for making me want to come.

3rd one is OK but not that interesting. Established in 2009 isn’t that compelling to make me want to come in (and isn’t that long a history so if you didn’t know they’d moved ….seems weird to call it out). Don’t think that needs to/should be a permanent part of the logo.

You’re right, I take my vote back. The first one, without the period. How about a fishing rod instead? OK just plain.
