Ella’s American Bistro opens today on Sugartown Road in Wayne. Devon Hill BMW’s Cortright Wetherill Jr. is the owner and Matt Schuler is the Executive Chef. The bistro will serve casual bistro fare and as is expected nowadays, will focus on local and sustainable sources for produce, cheese and meat.

Schuler was born in Lancaster County and attended Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina. He has recently served as the culinary instructor at The Pennsylvania School for Culinary Arts in Lancaster. At Ella’s, he will blend his knowledge of Lancaster’s farming community with his southern connections and classical training.

Dinner entrees will range from $12 to $28. Ella’s will also feature a full bar serving craft beer and classic cocktails. The wine list will feature 50 bottles and twelve wines by the glass, including favorites of owner Cortright Wetherill.

Hours of Operation:

Lunch: Monday – Friday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Dinner: Monday – Thursday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday & Saturday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday brunch: Will start shortly
