Restaurant Alba has expanded its Malvern location, adding a bar to the corner property at King Street and Warren Avenue, directly  across from the Malvern train station.

The bar offers a new small plate menu and aims to be an after work spot, place for pre-dinner drinks and a lunch destination on Thursdays and Fridays.

Chef/owner Sean Weinberg and wife Kelly Weinberg will be serving Apertivo, a variety of complimentary bites weeknights between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. The full service bar will specialize in Italian-inspired cocktails, Italian wine and craft beer. Alba has been serving Malvern for six years and was named one of the Fifty Best Restaurants by Philadelphia magazine.
