“Levin Lovers”? I hope that sarcasm.

I wonder how Levin’s iphone reception will be at this location. If it’s substandard, he might actually have to cook.

How freakin 10-minutes ago is Matt Levin? It amazes me that people will still throw money at him to open restos, only to find out later that he is shockingly lazy in the kitchen and runs around with an attitude of entitlement while talking mad shit about some of the giants of the biz (Keller, Trotter). And seriously? Still using black pepper caramel on your savory dishes? Yawn. So over it. This one will eventually come to a grinding halt just like all the others. The question is just when.

As a non-insider, I don’t really get the hate that Levin attracts (I get the hate that people like Starr/Garces get even if I don’t agree with it.

Levin (or his people) makes delicious food that people seem to like at two different stops. He may not make it in the most cost effective manner (for customers at Lacroix and for owners at Adsum) but that’s not much of a reason to hate.

He makes tasty food that I haven’t found in a lot of places, why would we want him not to be in a kitchen?

@Veritas, he’s been working with these restaurateurs for a while with their catering business I thought?

    • Ya

Looks like the same bs food he tried
Selling me at adsum. Put the bong down for one day and cook actual food.

What are the prices, this stuff looks good to me. Stoner food.

This guy Levin is so stale! Unoriginal, weak cooking skills, lame style. If it weren’t for his gift of speaking about food to make restaurateurs actually think he knows what he’s doing, he would be the guy that puts the onions on your cheesteak at 3 in the morning at Geno’s!!

Hey Taste Tester, you are a real annoying shill.
