Ok, so I know it’s easy to take pot-shots at SS, but is it me or does this house look remarkably sterile and lacking in “soul”. Is this what “staging” does to sell a house, remove any evidence that someone lives there?

    2. JeffreyW Says:

For someone who knows a thing or two about restaurants, he sure doesn’t understand the functionality of a good kitchen layout. The fridge is soooooo far away…way….way….ay…..

    3. Amanda Says:

Not crazy about the kitchen layout either, but come on, that house is gorgeous! It would be a great place to entertain. Also, notice the bedrooms aren’t shown, maybe, like real people, they just shoved all their shit in the closets while they had photos taken to sell their house.

I love his restaurants, but I believe the terms we’re looking for here is “fugly”

Apparently buckets of money can’t buy you taste.

I’m impressed that he actually has a house in the city.

    7. Jenn Says:

If I was a woman invited back to Starr’s place, I’d probably think that Starr was as boring and sterile as his house. I’d hope his bedroom was a LOT more interesting than the rest of his house. However, that being said, I probably wouldn’t sleep with him (money aside). He looks like an orange version of Leonard Nimoy.

    8. Julie Says:

Oh come on, that kitchen is awesome! Love those Italian refrigerators.

      This board reeks of jealousy…

    9. Jacques Says:

Anyone else think that this borders on invasion of privacy? I know the sales listing is public and one can find the owner of the property through city records, but putting these together, monitoring it, and posting it on a web site smacks of lack of ethics. Maybe that douchebag blogger from months back can give us his opinion on the house, too.

    10. Tex Says:

@Julie, I agree. I hear Laban is giving it four bells on Sunday.

Yeah, that place is terrible. I’m mean who would want a rooftop wet bar?
