Amis, Sycamore Hosting Pig Dinners This Week
Posted by Foobooz on February 6th, 2012

This Wednesday Amis is serving a whole pig dinner. The chef’s counter tasting dinner will consist of four courses from a whole suckling pig. The dinner is $65, $35 for an optional wine pairing. Chef Brad Spence has been tweeting out some of the dishes; Polenta pancake, cotechino sausage, maple mostarda and Porky borlotti bean stew with cracklings & stracciatella are his latest teases.

Tomorrow’s chef tasting from Sam Jacobson of Sycamore is also all about the pig. The four-course dinner, $49 will feature a mussel stew, roasted cauliflower with herb salad, roasted suckling pig and a potato, lemon zest and olive oil doughnut for dessert.
