Michael Klein gets the answer to the question that has been driving us crazy since word came of Le Bec-Fin’s sale. The new chef of Le Bec-Fin will be former French Laundry sous chef, Walter Abrams. For the last year Abrams has been chef de cuisine at San Francisco’s Spruce. Abrams will be accompanied by his girlfriend, Jennifer Smith (another French Laundry alum) who will be the new executive pastry chef.
