Tonight: Your First Soft-Shell Crab of the Season

We heard that soft shell crabs were out there, here’s the first we spotted in the wild. Silk City Diner is offering a soft shell BLT as a special tonight for $14. The soft shell crab is topped with lettuce, smoked bacon, beefsteak tomato, fine herb tartar sauce served on a brioche.

      I’m not sure if Silk City is the first with soft shells. I had a fantastic lightly tempura battered soft shell at Farm and Fisherman on Tuesday night.
