You won’t be visiting the Reading Terminal Market when you visit Philadelphia because, as its name suggests, it’s in Reading.

      Bob,
Reading terminal market (in Philly) is located on 12th Street between Market and Arch…don’t miss it.
I believe the two cheesesteak shops you are probably looking for are Geno’s and Pat’s on South 9th Street, – the Center City visitor center on 6th Street (again, between Market and Arch) can give you directions from their location.
Center city is a great area, enjoy your trip.

      Bob,

don’t go to pats or genos. take a trip to south philly and try tony luke’s or john’s roast pork instead, or to Paesano’s in the italian market (close to pat’s and geno’s) for a sandwich. or sarcone’s for a more traditional hoagie.

      BOB-

TO DRIVE IT HOME…do not to go Pat’s or Geno’s…the places Rory listed are far superior, regardless of what the travel channel is telling you.

Also do not go to Chik Fil A

Come on, guys: Anyone who posts a comment on a blog asking a question that can be answered by a simple Google search is obviously a troll.

Or an old person. My mom signs her text messages like that guy signed his post (love you mom)
