When Will the Philadelphia Episode of The Layover Air?

Posted by Foobooz on July 25th, 2012

In the past month Anthony Bourdain has shot episodes of his Travel Channel show the Layover in Chicago, Toronto and Seattle. In each of those cities the air date has been reported as fall of 2012 or early 2013. So we’d expect the same timeframe for the Philadelphia episode of The Layover.

Yesterday Bourdain filmed in at least six locations:

  • DiBruno Bros. (Italian Market Location)
  • Paesano’s (9th Street Location)
  • Mütter Museum
  • Barnes Foundation
  • Amis
  • Dirty Frank’s
Today he’s tweeted that breakfast is at Pho 75.

I asked his producer while he was at Dirty Frank’s. His answer was “probably January.”

Never understood why Pho 75 is the chef favorite for Pho joints. And very surprised that Bourdain chose it over other options, considering it’s a chain.

Doubling down on what @BarryG said.

    • What?

Eater is reporting that Bourdain is with Mike Solomonov, and he’s a known fan of Pho 75.

Any update on where Bourdain took his dump this morning???? (Seriously, though, this is kind of fun.)

I see Foobooz has replaced its Hop Sing obsession with a visit from Anthony Bourdain…I mean for 2 days at least.

Had no idea “75″ was respected by big shots. My love of it is vindicated.
