Technology To Get You Drunk Better At Caffe Aldo Lamberti

Aldo Lamberti’s Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast-approved Cherry Hill dining room, Caffe Aldo Lamberti, has entered into even more rarified vinological territory with its addition of the Tiare Technology Wireless WineList System. The Tiare system, (which is the first to hit South Jersey and the same as the one being used at Osteria in Philly), allows patrons to use an IPad to sort the restaurant’s 15,000-bottle catalog by region, varietal or price range, or to search for a specific offering. Of course, no such app would be worth its tannic acids if it didn’t also provide information on the winery, region, vintage and tasting notes. And this one does just that–plus it displays pretty pictures and labels.

Drinking like a pro: Yeah, there’s an app for that.

      I got this at Osteria, and I didn’t like it at ALL. I just want to look at a nice simple piece of paper with all my options laid out in such a way that I can see a whole pageful at once. I don’t want to type things with my fat fingers that always seem to miss the stupid virtual keys. I don’t want to smear my fingers across a screen that hundreds of other have already touched. I don’t want to have to worry about dropping an expensive device and shattering it.

      Just give me a friggin’ menu. Surely its cheaper?

      At Caffe Aldo Lamberti, not only do we have the Tiare Wireless Winelist system via Ipad, but we do also still have our paper wine list available. Rest assured, if you dine at Caffe Aldo Lamberti, you can easily view our Wine List in your preferred manner.
