We would be foolish to disagree about last year. We also totally understand why some folks have sour feelings about it. What I can tell you 100% is it isn't greed driven. We did not expect 200 people to arrive by noon any more than we expected a line of 40 people at 10am. We were overwhelmed on every level. Without the outdoor seating we would have been turning people away. It is a catch-22 because that would have come up as an issue. When we started this, we had 13 pumpkin beers. That was only 4 years ago and now it is up to over 50. I would reference what I posted before about how we have taken steps to address what went wrong last year and ensure this year is fun for everyone.

We posted the list on our Facebook page but yea pretty much all of them including a few that will only be at our event. At last count we were at 53.

I can spill the beans now about our outdoor beer pouring. Charlie just finished the taps for what is probably the only of it's kind outdoor tap system. Pretty sick.

I;m glad Tony brought up the topic. We have been working on our pumpkin festival--which is not only the 2nd largest in the country--but it is the 2nd largest pumpkin beer festival in the world (Only Elysian has a bigger fest and we will have several of those on as well as having brewmaster/founder Dick Cantwell hanging out with us) This year we have both beer and food set up outside. Instead of having to wait around for table servers everyone can walk up to the beer and the food, get what they want and spend more time enjoying the day. It is cash only outside. All beer and food prices will be even dollar amounts.
Second we will have Porta-Pots outside.
Third, we have streamlined the menu considerably. There are a total of 6 items for the day (after brunch) which hopefully will allow for a steady flow both inside and outside. We reviewed the top selling items and came up with a list that we feel should make everyone happy.
Finally we are staffed 3 times more this year than last.
We are confident that this year should be great for everyone.
One final note, brunch was a ticketed event and it is sold out.
