Weekend: Free Donuts (And Not From FedNuts)
Posted by Alex Tewfik on October 3rd, 2012
Krispy Kreme is celebrating the 1 Year Anniversary of their Collingswood location. The good news is that the celebration will be spread out across all four of their Philadelphia area locations, so we can all party. The better news? There are free doughnuts involved.
The celebrations begin on Friday and Saturday, October 5th and 6th, when you can buy any dozen and get a 2nd dozen of Original Glazed for only $1. Then on Sunday, you’ll get handed a free Original Glazed with any purchase at all.
But wait, there’s more! In Collingswood only, on Saturday, there will be a casting call for a local Krispy Kreme commercial from 10am-2pm. At noon, the Krispy Kreme prize wheel stars spinning, and you’ll be able to win free prizes and coupons. Plus, from 2-4pm, if you’re seen wearing your local high school gear, you recieve a free Original Glazed, just for showing school spirit. For you parents who need a little doughnut break, there will be a Krispy Kreme kids corner, full of coloring stations, temporary tattoos, and stickers. And all weekend, if you get there from 6-8am, you’ll recieve a free medium coffee.
Which is almost (but not quite) worth getting out of bed at 7am on a Saturday.
