She had no preference so I said let’s try that Thai restaurant across from the Bala Theater in Bala Cynwyd that we tried one year ago and never went back. To our pleasant surprise, the place is under new ownership and opened just last week.

They bill themselves as CIRCLES – CONTEMPORARY ASIAN. What a feast! I won’t bore you with our menu choices. The three of us had everything and it was all delicious and served promptly. The prices were reasonable. We ate for $75 including a $15 tip. It’s BYOB (we don’t drink booze} and we passed on the dessert.

Watch out Sang Kee in Wynnewood, you got some real competition!
