Smokin’ Turkeys With All the Fixins for Thanksgiving
Posted by Maegan Cadet on November 12th, 2012
Picture it: Thanksgiving morning with the smell of turkey filling the air. But wait, you don’t remember putting the turkey in the oven, or even preparing it the night before. Don’t panic; you bought your turkey from one of your favorite local restaurants.
So sit back and relax because this Thanksgiving you don’t have to worry about fixing a turkey; we’ve got plenty of places that will fix it for you.
Citron + Rose
For $325 you can get a 15-pound turkey complete with mushroom knishes, whiskey glazed sweet potatoes, herb challah stuffing, green beans almandine, C&R chopped salad, and pecan pie. The meal feeds 6 to 8 people, so you have plenty of reason to uninvite that neighbor with the weird facial hair.

Percy Street BBQ
For $65 you can feed “6 to 8 hungry pilgrims” with a 15-pound turkey with homemade gravy and cranberry sauce. If you want to commit to a fully catered meal, you can get all the fixin’s for $225 including cornbread & sausage stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes with toasted marshmallows, collard greens, baked apples, and pecan pie. The best part? Percy Street will donate a turkey to a local food bank for every turkey sold. Orders must be placed by Thursday, November 15 and will be available for pick-up on Wednesday, November 21.

Belle Cakery
If your cheesecakes still come out with the consistency of chocolate pudding, it might be time to let the professionals handle dessert. Belle Cakery has an assortment of deserts (PDF), like an eight inch chocolate layer cake with caramelized cinnamon buttercream and chocolate ganache. You can also get sweet potato cornbread for $7 a pan or a classic apple tart. Orders must be placed by Tuesday, November 13 and can be picked up at various times beginning November 19.
