Bufad Pizza Is Cooking with Wood

Bufad Pizza, from the team behind Cafe Lift and Prohibition Taproom have circled February 1st on the calendar as their opening date for their Spring Garden pizzeria. And with the facade coming along nicely (pictured above) and this recent photo of them testing out their pizza oven, it looks like they’re right on schedule.

      that is an earthstone oven, but those are fake logs powered by gas. this is a bad picture for this “cooking with wood” article.

      Zavino has the same oven… All gas.
      They used to have the fake logs until one of their lunch cooks threw them out.

      Wow that’s an impressive change from a chinese take-out place that used to sell crack pipes with the chore already in the stem.
