Craft & Claw Closes in Old City

Sunday night was the final night for Craft & Claw in Old City. The replacement for Mad River had been well received by the critics in its three month run but its clubby past may have caught up with it. Word on the street points to lawsuits from its Mad River club days and a suit from a neighbor are contributing factors to its closing.

      There’s a concept that would be perfect for this space — Strip & Steak, a strip club/steak house. That’s exactly what Old City needs.

      don’t forget after it was mad river, and before it was craft & claw it was touted as being old city’s only steakhouse (sorry marmont) for the three months it was open.
