Went here a couple of times with some friends while waiting around the museum area. The food was surprisingly really good! My favorite to eat was either the bacon, egg and cheese burger or their cheesesteak sandwich with an egg. A classic with a twist. The drinks were good, but their beers were very good. I would comp that to any of the craft beer places in the area.

Being from the neighborhood I have been to this place more
than a few times. That being said I find it great for what it is. There is
always a nice rotating craft beer selection, their bar food is quite good and the staff has always been super friendly and helpful. What more do I need from a “local” bar. Simon seems to be right on track with the eclectic crowd it does bring, but I also think it adds charm to the place. I mean where else can you chat with a few people from Ireland and a few from Italy and a few from a block
away. I will miss it if it goes.

The B&W was great to me when Temple operated a dorm in the now gone annex to the Best Western. We were able to use our "Diamond Dollars" at the B&W Sports Bar. Which meant bar food for dinner and if you had the right bartender/server, drinks were covered by your meal plan equivalent/diamond dollars allotment. Excellent when you are a junior living on next to nothing in the strangest dorm situation possible. I miss that joint.
