We Have a Winner in Our German Haiku Contest

Grüne Bitterhopfen
Deutsch Malz und klarem Wasser
Große goldene Freund

~~~

Green Bitter hops
German malt and fresh water
Great golden friend

Congratulations to Brian McEntee who managed a poem that followed the 5-7-5 haiku structure in German, and sounded good in English too.

McEntee will be going to tomorrow’s Bierfest at the German Society of Pennsylvania. You can too, just make sure you get your tickets now as quantities are limited.
