Bocks, Brats and Three-Legged Goats at Johnny Brenda’s
This weekend Johnny Brenda’s is hosting three days of bock beers and homemade sausages. It all gets underway at 4 p.m. on Friday and runs through the weekend.
Six tap-handles will be dedicated to local bock beers, a staple of spring. The kitchen will be serving up housemade brats and soft pretzels to pair with those Maibocks, Doppelbocks and Weizenbocks.
Simon, the 2013 champion of the Sly Fox Goat Race will be on hand from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Simon is the second three-legged goat to win Sly Fox’s goat race. If you have a theory for why three-legged goats beat four-legged goats, we’re all ears.
