Make Your Plans Now: Feastival 2013
Okay, so here’s what you need to do.
You need to clear Thursday, September 12 on your schedule. And probably, you’ll want to just take off the Friday, too. The reason? Feastival is coming back for a 4th go-round, and if this year’s party is anything like last year’s party, you’re going to need some time to recover.
No, really. We’re talking dozens of the best restaurants in the city, all trying to out-do each other with things to shove in your snack hole. We’re talking bars everywhere you look, all serving high-test fun-juice (occasionally being poured by upside-down acrobats). There’s music, entertainment, a silent auction and blah blah blah, but really, what matters is the food (and the booze) and the food (and the booze) are both plentiful and largely awesome.
Questlove’s fried chicken debuted at Feastival one year. So did Federal Donuts. I had about 12 of the best dark and stormies of my life one year at Feastival. And the point of all this fawning praise is that tickets for this year’s Feastival are currently on sale and you should go and get yours right now.

Yeah, and that’s just the NEW ones. Add these to the list of returning restaurants we told you about a couple months ago, and you’ll understand why we’re telling you to make your plans now. Yeah, the tickets are a little pricey, but when else are you going to get the chance to score tastes from Vetri, Sbraga, Sabatino, Vernick, Kearse, FedNuts, Morimoto and Shake Shack all in one night?
Tickets are $250/$350 per person. And the whole thing goes down at Pier 9, from 7pm-10pm on September 12. Hope to see you all there.
