Filling growlers with craft beer is becoming more and more popular. Once just the domain of brew pubs, bars are now filling the glass vessels to go. And why not? It’s the easiest way to get fresh draft beer at home.
But some rules to keep in mind:
- You cannot purchase more than the maximum PA take-out ounces (192 ounces), 3 growlers
- Most breweries are hesitant fill brought in growlers due to PLCB/Federal labeling regulations
