UWISHUNU gives some love to the hidden Cafe Lift in the lofts district. Brunch is the meal to hit up with six kinds of frittatas and rarely a wait. [UWISHUNU]

Seitan Cheesesteaks Make You Cool
Posted by Foobooz on December 12th, 2007
Living On The Vedge recommends you up your street cred by ordering the seitan cheesesteak at the Abbaye.
The Abbaye will make you a changed man. The Seitan Cheesesteak here is a special, but it’s usually there, because everyone wants to be with it. Juicy pieces of seitan are smothered with cheese and grilled onions and folded into a roll, with crispy frites and a side of cheese sauce that insists on being used for both. Add beer. You, looking like a person that I want to know.

Foodaphilia At The Abbaye
Posted by Foobooz on June 8th, 2007
Foodaphilia settles down for a late night dinner at the Abbaye in Northern Liberties.
Overall, a good meal. The Abbaye is also open late Monday through Saturday, so it’s a good place to hit if you’re hungry at a later than normal hour for dinner. Just stay away from the mac and cheese.
