Everyone’s favorite Eraserhood whiskey bar is throwing a battle royale. On Wednesday, March 27th, from 6-9 p.m., The Trestle Inn is hosting a bourbon battle, where contenders will be mixing up their best bourbon cocktail and finding out where theirs stand amongst the rest.

Kevin James Holland, the operator of West Philadelphia’s Fiume, is a serious fan of the brown liquors, and this Friday, he’s launching the bar’s third annual whiskey festival. At JG Domestic, February is apparently bourbon month because for 28 straight days, the crew there are celebrating the brown spirit like they forgot its birthday.
So how are they celebrating? By pouring it, natch. Lots and lots of it. All throughout the month of February, they’ll be offering two different flights of small-batch bourbons: A $10 “Lawrenceburg” option that brings Buffalo Trace, Maker’s Mark and Bulleit Frontier Whiskey, and an upscale “Versailles” flight for $20 which involves Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon, Woodford Reserve and Black Maple Hill. For an additional $9, the kitchen will create custom bar snacks to accompany your flight.
