About Last Night: Bacos and Gummy Bears At Open Stove

Posted by Jason Sheehan on March 6th, 2013

Gummy Bears Were Also Worth Extra Points

Last night, Jamie Wolf of Alma de Cuba and Carmen Cappello from the Moshulu faced off in our own tiny little Kitchen Stadium (otherwise known as the kitchen at COOK). They brought their sous chefs. They brought their knives and their ingredients. They thought they knew what was going to happen when we started the clock.

They had no idea.

Pictures and more, right this way

Industry Night at Moshulu with Tony Clark

Posted by Amanda Shulman on November 5th, 2012

If you’re in the hospitality industry, get excited. If you’re not, get jealous. The first ever Industry Night at Moshulu will occur tonight from 8 pm., to 1 a.m.. While it was originally scheduled for Monday, October 29th, Hurricane Sandy, who wasn’t invited, came to town and decided to shut it down out of rage. Chef Tony Clark, who is now heading up the restaurants at the Valley Forge Casino, will team up with Moshulu’s Anthony Bonnett and Carmen Cappello to create a meal that is sure to wow.

The Moshulu team will be creating dishes like house-smoked Lambdouille Dogs and Diablo Dogs with pickled onion and purple mustard, fried bologna sandwiches with smoky blue cheese and watercress, and octopus with roasted squash, chorizo and sage. Chef Clark will be whipping up a number of small plates as well.
