Dos Segundos Cantina

For the month of March, nine Northern Liberties bars are getting together and making sure they don’t pour the same beer twice. They’re calling it Northern Exposure and plan to offer an unrivaled draft list of over 100 unique beers through the month.
There is no cover charge or tickets, just pay as you go for beers. They’re encouraging small, self-guided bar crawls and there will be Beer Passports to help record the beers tried. Complete one brewer’s offerings in the month and get some free swag.

It isn’t often that a grade school’s fall festival is worthy of a post on Foobooz but tomorrow’s Harvest Festival at St. Peter’s School at 3rd and Lombard is no ordinary school event.
Of course there will be games, face-painting, pony rides, and baked goods from the students mothers but there will also be some serious eats. Names like Percy Street BBQ, Cantina Dos Segundos, Federal Donuts, Khyber Pass Pub, Little Baby’s Ice Cream, JAVA coffee, and even Whole Foods will take this small, unassuming street fair to the next level.
Food will be served 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cantina Dos Segundos offers $1 vegan chorizo tacos and Dos Equis pork tacos. There are also $2 PBR drafts if you’re into that kind of thing.

Dos Segundos has something they cal 25-days of tequila. For 25 days in December they will feature a different tequila special. Sounds perfect to us.

At Cantina Dos Segundos it’s Brewsday Tuesday. And tonight there will be two special beers from Bells Brewing in Michigan. Bell’s Special Double Cream Stout and Bell’s Best Brown Ale.
Brewsday Tuesdays not only feature discounted drafts but also dollar tacos made with the featured draft beer. Choose among pork belly, vegetarian or vegan options.

Cantina Dos Segundos is hosting brewery’s each Tuesday. Today Sly Fox Brewing will be pouring their Grisette and Route 113 IPA. The fun starts at 6pm and with the beer and $1 pork belly tacos.
Next Tuesday Sixpoint takes the taps as they will be serving their pilsner and Bengali Tiger IPA.

This evening marks the return of Cantina Dos Segundos’ Brewsday Tuesday. Each Tuesday the Northern Liberties bar will be spotlighting some rare beers from the some of the world’s best breweries at discount prices.
Today from 6pm till the kegs kick Dos Segundos will be serving up Hitachino Nest White Ale and Red Rice Ale on draft.
They will also be serving up Pork Belly Tacos for just $1 each.
