Posted by Foobooz on January 11th, 2013
Thursday, January 17th, The Ten Six Club opens, replacing the former Walnut Room at 1709 Walnut Street. Upstairs from Alfa, the space has been revamped with a pink, gold, and black color scheme. Think mod meets British rock.
Owners Joe Beckham and Giancarlo Dipasquale, who also own Alfa downstairs and Loco Pez in Fishtown, intend for the spot to be a go-to dance party with hits of the ’80s, ’90s and today.
The grand opening is set for Thursday, January 17th. From 10 p.m. to midnight there will be $3 beers, $4 wines and $5 Ten Six Club specialty cocktails.
